About the event

Gérard died at age 72 after a battle with cancer. Suffering from Diogenes syndrome, some OCD, and “a slight penchant for alcohol,” Gérard was a complex man. His passing has left his son Alex reeling. To cope with his grief and mourning, Alex turns to laughter. He draws on his memories and portrays the transformation of this difficult father. Alex indulges in a feast of irony, skewering the entire baby boomer generation with fierce relish. For this show, Alex Lutz received the 2026 Molière Award for Comedy.
