About the event
They invent a new world in which the basket, as a prop, becomes, in turn, a mask, seven-league boots, a backpack…
Just like the pun “Panier Piano,” everything is constantly transforming. Bodies and baskets intertwine and extend, coming together to create absurd images, zany characters, and fantastical animals. With the piano as its sole instrument, the show’s soundtrack was custom-created, exploring the instrument in its entirety: its keyboard, but also its belly and its body.
A fertile ground for invention that celebrates, through dance, the power of children’s imagination!
Choreography and performance: Temmah Lindo and Manon Froger.
Music: Stéphane Bordenet and José Ramanoel.
