About the event
A tattooed mom who listens to rock music and wears sequined bodysuits, who dances in her underwear and raises her fist? Apparently, that’s weird… This new production by Barbaque Compagnie tells the story of a single-parent family—a feminist mother who’s as free-spirited as she is whimsical—and a child growing up surrounded by unconventional yet caring adults. This show—featuring a single performer, a few puppets, songs, and surprises—opens the door to alternative models of family and parenthood.
