About the event
Children ages 4 to 12 can participate in games, challenges, and activities to learn how to identify the iconic species found in marshes, ponds, rivers, peatlands, and estuaries: birds, amphibians, insects, fish, and even aquatic mammals.
These activities aim to raise public awareness of the importance of wetlands—true reservoirs of biodiversity that are essential to the balance of our environment.
This program is part of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) campaign: “Wetlands for Life.”
