Painting Exhibition in Baie de Canche

Etaples

Starting April 11, an outdoor exhibition dedicated to the Étaples artists’ colony in Baie de Canche will be on display in the towns of Étaples-sur-Mer, Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, and Camiers, in collaboration with the ABC Association (Association Baie de Canche). In Étaples-sur-Mer, 17 reproductions of artworks can be viewed at three locations: At Clos Saint-Victor Park, at the mill on Rue des Travailleurs de la Mer, and on Place Jeanne d’Arc. The exhibition will also be on view: On Boulevard de la Canche and at Square Paul François Rivet in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, as well as at the orchard of Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer on Rue de l’Église in Camiers. This exhibition highlights these artists who came to capture the landscapes, the light, and daily life around Canche Bay. Harbors, dunes, markets, sailors, scenes of everyday life, and landscapes have inspired many painters—both French and foreign—who were moved by the region’s authenticity.
