About the event
As part of the national “Pink October” campaign, the CCAS, in collaboration with the prevention department of the CPAM Côte d’Opale, the CAF, and the nature department, is organizing a nature walk on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Clos Saint Victor and will take you through the Canche Bay Nature Reserve. You will be accompanied by nature guides who will help you discover the richness of the local flora and fauna.
The goal of this event is to raise awareness about breast cancer screening, as breast cancer remains the most common cancer in France and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women. It is essential to break down taboos, educate ourselves, and adopt healthy habits—especially by getting screened regularly—because this can save lives.
Feel free to bring a pink accessory if you can.
