For over a century, off the path that runs along the southern coast, the lighthouse has been casting its blinding light.
During a shift change, John Duffy, the lighthouse keeper, crosses paths with Arthur Gallagher, a young lighthouse keeper. A storm forces them to stay together on site for several weeks. Battered by rain and fierce winds, the islet becomes a place of confidences, violence, and revelations.
A guardian of both light and truth, the lighthouse—like memories—will bring these two men, whom everything seems to drive apart, back to shore.
