Me and the Others
Dunkerque
Based on twelve illustrations from iconic books published by L'École des Loisirs, the exhibition aims to invite children, parents, educators, and book industry professionals to reflect on the meaning of “living together.” An exhibition created by École des Loisirs Learning to share and connect with others allows us to live together. But it’s not always easy! Some of these characters go on adventures that will feel familiar to you. They, too, are learning to live together. The illustrations are taken from books; they speak of helping one another and tolerance. It’s up to you to discover what’s hidden in these images, to share your thoughts, and to listen to how others feel. After the tour, you can join these characters in the books and discover their stories. Self-guided tour: Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (School breaks: Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) La Halle aux Sucres in Dunkirk / Major Exhibition | FREE | All ages
