About the event
Located on a former blockhouse built by the Germans to protect the gates of the Watier Lock, the Dunkirk Port Lookout welcomes maritime and river traffic. Before visiting, learn about the harbor master’s office, its roles, and how it’s organized. → Tuesday, November 17, Wednesday, November 18, and Thursday, November 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: guided tour of the Vigie. → Take the bus from the L'Hermitte stop (shuttle 16). → Meet at the Grand Port Maritime entrance gate, 2505 Rte de l’Écluse Trystram, 59140 Dunkirk. → Reservations required on the website or at the Tourist Office information desks. → Access: nearby parking, bus, 100 steps (no elevator). → Tour reserved for children ages 14 and older accompanied by adults; the tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. → Valid identification must be submitted in advance and presented on the day of the tour.
