Enedis invites you to explore the 4 Ecluses substation, a key component of the energy transition. On Thursday, November 19, two guided tour sessions will give you the opportunity to explore how high-voltage electricity (225,000 V) is transformed into medium-voltage electricity (20,000 V) to power the region. The tour takes place on Route de Furnes, 59140 Dunkirk, between Boulevard Victor Hugo and Route de Steendam, across from Les 4 Ecluses. Easy access by car (parking available nearby) or by bus (C6 stop: “cimetière” or “4Ecluses”). Participants aged 16 and older, accompanied by an adult, must wear safety shoes and a helmet, which will be provided by Enedis if necessary. The tour is accessible to people with limited mobility.
