About the event

As part of the “Discover Outreau’s Heritage” event series, an evening dedicated to the town’s railway history. The program includes a screening of the film “1995, We the Railroad Workers: When a People Stands Up,” which chronicles the struggle waged by railroad workers against the Juppé government, followed by a discussion moderated by Bruno Arnoult, a CGT union organizer and local historian. The event is organized by the CGT Railway Workers’ Union of Boulogne-sur-Mer and the Surrounding Area, in partnership with the municipality. Admission is free, but registration is required through the Heritage Department.

As part of the “Discover Outreau’s Heritage” event series, the Heritage Department invites you to (re)discover Outreau as it once was. This first installment is dedicated to the rich history of the town center, featuring a 45- to 60-minute walking tour suitable for families. There are four time slots on each of the two days: 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Registration is required; please meet at your chosen time in front of the Temple du Peintre.
