Cocktail Concert — Mister Java
Outreau Opalenews event
With a mix of barroom poetry and catchy choruses, Mister Java is, above all, a band that brings people together. Blending stripped-down ska and gritty rock, this high-energy duo sings about the people, slipping in a few good-natured jabs seasoned with Jamaican music: celebration, youth, and friendship, all with a healthy dose of humor and generosity. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the “Cœur2femme 62” association as part of Pink October. Cultural Services Box Office: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (5 p.m. on Fridays), Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and at the venue one hour before each show.
