About the event
Lecture moderated by Victor Vanoosten, Head of Documentation and Archives at the Boucher-de-Perthes Museum – Manessier, which explores how his architectural training at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris shaped Manessier’s work, from his collaborations with Brutalist architects of the 1960s and 1970s to his conception of the space within the painting and of painting itself.
