About the event

For this edition, the museum is opening its doors free of charge on an exceptional basis, with no reservation required, and featuring two brand-new activities: on Saturday, Viking battle reenactments with the troupe Les Nordiens; on Sunday, “Flash” tours focused on Viking ships, where you can discover the secrets of the langskip, knörr, and drekki. This is a chance to (re)discover the Clock Tower, its feudal motte, its period costumes, its traditional games, its cinema housed in a Viking ship, and its exhibition dedicated to the Meeting at the Camp of the Golden Cloth. The short film “Sifrid the Dane: The Origins of Guînes” will also be screened there.
