Program of events centered on the national theme “Bringing All Ages Together in Committed Communities.” Wednesday, October 7, 9:00 a.m., departing from the Harbor Master’s Office: an intergenerational “blue walk” with students from Saint Joseph High School and youth from the “Les Jeunes Pins” center—free. Wednesday, October 7, 2–4 p.m., Senior Center: “Yesterday in Today’s Colors,” an afternoon of conversation centered on colorized photos of Étaples from years past, in partnership with the “Les Jeunes Pins” recreation center—free. Thursday, October 8, 2:00 p.m., Senior Center: Video workshop to record life stories of Étaples residents—free. Friday, October 9, 2:00 p.m., Senior Center: “Preventing the Effects of Aging” workshops led by ASSP students from Saint Joseph High School—free. A meal for seniors is also being held on Tuesday, October 6, at the Salle de la Corderie (see separate flyer).
