To mark the third edition of “Faiseurs de mode,” the Cité de la dentelle et de la mode is presenting the exhibition “Métamorphose” by the Latour & Maïques studio. From September 19 to December 13, 2026, visitors will discover an installation where material takes center stage in the creative process. Vincent Richard de Latour and Claire Maïques blend traditional textile finishing techniques with contemporary processes to create unique fabrics designed for haute couture, ready-to-wear, and interior design. Meet the creators: Sunday, September 20, at 3:00 p.m., during European Heritage Days, the artists will offer a behind-the-scenes look at their work and their approach to textile finishing. Contemporary Patchwork Workshop: A Textile Fusion: On Saturday, November 21, participants can experiment with the textile finishing techniques developed by the studio. Price: €20.
Exceptional Craftsmanship: Weaving with Anne Corbière

An afternoon dedicated to exceptional weaving. Anne Corbière, a textile artisan, will share her passion with the public through demonstrations and a talk about her career and craft. She initially focused on producing theater costumes before designing and creating exclusive fabrics for haute couture, and later for leading interior designers and collectors. Her work combines contemporary design with traditional craft techniques. She also teaches at the University of Angers and the Institut Français de la Mode, and serves as a consultant for the textile industry in France and internationally. Demonstrations from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Lecture at 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium; duration: 45 minutes. Free admission; reservations recommended. The Cité de la dentelle et de la mode is open every day except Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
