A guided tour connecting the two museums, centered on the exhibition “Maurizio Galante & Tal Lancman: Haute Couture, Design, Art.” The exhibition explores the dialogue between fashion and design through some sixty haute couture outfits created by Maurizio Galante since the 1990s, as well as works of art and design conceived with his partner Tal Lancman since 2003. The art of couture, weaving, and embroidery encompasses all materials: feathers, beads, ceramics, straw, lace, textured silks, metal, glass, and leather. Tours depart from the Cité de la Dentelle et de la Mode and last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Included with admission; reservations required.

Their discussion sheds light on the realities of contemporary design. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience. This event is intended for students and fashion professionals.
