Furax Barbarossa + 10 Vers + Joyful Sadness
Calais Opalenews event
Furax Barbarossa, an iconic figure of the French underground rap scene, returns to Calais on June 12, 2027. This sharp-tongued pirate from Toulouse crafts an uncompromising body of work, where raw poetry, restrained rage, and absolute sincerity blend with rare intensity. On stage, his magnetic charisma and the intensity of his performance transform every concert into a powerful and soul-stirring experience. Respected by artists such as Kool Shen, Akhenaton, and SCH, Furax has built an independent career over the years, remaining true to his convictions. 10Vers and Joyeuse Tristesse will join them on this musical adventure. For over twenty years, 10Vers has championed authentic rap, driven by dense lyrics deeply rooted in reality. Joyeuse Tristesse explores the contrasts between light and melancholy, strength and fragility, through sensitive lyrics and a sincere stage presence. The concert will take place at 8:30 p.m. in Calais. Tickets are €22.
