"Dream" – Closing Performance of the Festival for the Very Young

About the event

On Sunday, August 23, at 9:00 p.m., the Jardin d'Ypres will be transformed into a setting of poetry and magic for the performance of “Rêve,” a contemporary show for all ages (children and adults alike) that blends circus arts, aerial dance, and pyrotechnics.

For 50 minutes, the performers will transport the audience into a world where the elements interact and intertwine. Air, fire, and light come together to create a visual masterpiece of great beauty, brought to life by choreography that is at once delicate, powerful, and full of emotion.

Through dance, circus feats, and pyrotechnic effects, “Rêve” explores the balance between strength and lightness. In a choreography that is both delicate and powerful, the purity of aerial dance and the lightness of spheres and angels contrast with the passion and power of fire. From this encounter, where beings defy gravity, a storm of feathers emerges, enveloping the atmosphere—a sign of restored peace and balance. Through a gentle, surging wave of images, the elements blend and clash, giving way to a dreamlike moment.

Accessible to all, this show invites young and old alike to let themselves be carried away by a succession of striking images, poetic scenes, and emotions. An enchanting interlude, where the artists’ virtuosity serves the imagination.

Presented as part of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage’s summer program, “Rêve” promises a memorable evening under the summer sky, in the exceptional setting of the Jardin d’Ypres.

Prices: €18 (adults), €14 (children ages 2–12), free for children under 2.
