The Comedy of Errors On April 9, 2027, at 8:30 p.m., at the Calais Theater, the La Porte au Trèfle theater troupe presents "The Comedy of Errors," a burlesque adaptation of William Shakespeare's original farce. This play tells the story of twin brothers separated in childhood after a shipwreck, who happen to meet again in the same city and set out in search of their other selves. The result is a romantic and comical mix-up, where misunderstandings come thick and fast. No one understands anyone else anymore, and everything is at risk: the wedding, their financial situation... The five-actor troupe brings 15 characters to life with humor and creativity. The production is directed by Zelda Bourquin. Tickets are €22.

Clémentine Célarié’s fiery energy blends with Paloma’s comedic timing, rounding out this wild and unrestrained comedy. Alongside this duo, Jérôme Pouly, Benjamin Siksou, and Alexie Ribes enrich the show with lively energy and a delightful pace. Three little monkeys, brimming with curiosity and a sweet tooth, are perched high up in the treetops. But watch out: their dad clearly told them not to come down, because tigers are lurking and their bellies are growling with hunger! Filled with thrills, bursts of laughter, and unexpected twists, this show thoughtfully explores the desire to push boundaries and the consequences of our choices. Running for 35 minutes, this show is suitable for children ages 2 and up. Tickets are €6.

It plunges us into the heart of human contradictions, where passion runs wild and reason falters. Set to an original musical score, this biting comedy invites us to discover the most intimate and absurd aspects of love. *Amor à mort* will be performed on December 5, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. at the Calais.
