Etaples

The canoe race is a traditional event that no Étaplois should miss. This regatta plunges us into the heart of the maritime traditions of Étaples-sur-Mer, once a thriving fishing port. This approximately 3-kilometer race precedes another event called the “godille race,” during which about ten strong men compete solo in their canoes using a specific technique.
