Created on December 11, 1974, by the Nord Departmental Council, this 83-hectare nature reserve is located between the towns of Zuydcoote and Bray-Dunes.
A 9.3-kilometer trail will guide you on a walk lasting about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Reconnect with nature along the 8-kilometer-long shifting dune, and discover more than 400 plant species (beach grass, sea buckthorn, sand elymia, etc.), and its equally rich fauna (dragonflies, birds, amphibians, etc.).
A tour that takes you from a farm to the sanatorium—now a maritime hospital—passing by the blockhouses along the way.
A discovery walk for everyone in a landscape shaped by war, blending history and nature.
