About the event
La Frappadingue returns to Gravelines on Sunday, November 11, 2026. This obstacle course race is one of the oldest in France and features the most stages nationwide. Over the past fifteen years, the event has attracted more than 300,000 participants.
La Frappadingue offers 6- or 12-kilometer courses that combine running, obstacles, mud, water crossings, and other challenges in a spirit of camaraderie, mutual support, and pushing one’s limits. Open to everyone, it welcomes experienced athletes and beginners alike, as well as groups of friends and families. Race bibs start at 43 euros.
The race will take place in a unique seaside setting, within the ramparts of Gravelines and in the Parc des Rives de l’Aa. A festive atmosphere defines the event’s identity and explains why participants return year after year. A children’s race, the Frappajeune, is held on the Saturday morning before each event and is open to children ages 6 to 15.
